It was a moving story of a guy (sandler) that lost his family in the 9-11 world trade center attacks. Years later, he runs into an old college roommate (cheadle) that he doesn't even recognize due to the post-dramatic stress ensued by the loss of his family. The two rekindle their old friendship and Cheadle's character, Johnson, realizes that he must get Sandler's character, Fineman, some help before it's too late.
This was the first movie that has made me cry in a long time. It's completely worth watching and after seeing it, I'm positive the viewer will appreciate his or her family much more.

Lara Croft, that cultural icon, cover girl, and scourge of wildlife everywhere, was last seen buried beneath an Egyptian pyramid at the end of Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation. Despite this apparent demise, Lara returns in Tomb Raider: Chronicles, an adventure that features previously unseen episodes from her career. Old friends of Lara who have gathered for her funeral and to swap stories about her exploits introduce the episodes.

The first level is set in Rome, and is classic Lara: plenty of jumping and puzzle solving, with a minimum of gunplay. It's reminiscent of the very first Tomb Raider--it even features the comedy bad guys Pierre and Larson from that game. This chapter also serves as an introduction to Lara's various moves, and is a real nostalgia-fest for longtime fans.

The other chapters have distinct themes: on a spooky deserted island, an unarmed teenage Lara must get through by wits alone; an action-packed level takes place on a submarine; and, most intriguing of all, Lara infiltrates a high-tech building and utilizes various stealth techniques. This is very Metal Gear Solid-esque, and possibly indicates the direction that the series will take in the future. (Lara's not really dead? Now, there's a surprise.)

Unfortunately, the difficult control system remains, and the graphics have been given only a slight polish. An array of customary new moves have been added--this time, Lara can use a tightrope, for example--but these essentially are cosmetic. The gameplay overall hasn't evolved much, but, thankfully the puzzles are less obscure this time around, and the tightly designed levels cut down on the aimless wandering that was common in the middle games of the series.

Tomb Raider fans will be very happy with what probably is the most purely enjoyable game since the series' first. Lara-phobes will take more convincing, but all of the hype that surrounds her shouldn't obscure the fact that the divine Ms. Croft hasn't appeared in a bad game yet, and Tomb Raider: Chronicles is no exception.

Will Smith plays (as far as his character knows) the last man on earth, our hero, Robert Neville, a sole
survivor of a world dominating virus created by man, that initially takes out 588 million people in 2009,
and was originally created to somehow cure cancer. In 2012, Neville (a former scientist) dedicates his life
to surviving for the sake of the human race, since he's somehow immune to the virus and those who have
been infected, and attempts to find a cure. In order to find a cure, he seeks out the infected beings at night,
who seem to have completely forgotten how to act human, their instincts and survival skills have become
non-existent, and either takes them out to survive, or in some cases, drags them to his underground lab
for research purposes, in hopes of correcting humankind's mistake.

The film deals with the relationships among four men in a Japanese prisoner of war camp during the Second World War — Jack Celliers (Bowie), a rebellious prisoner with a guilty secret from his youth in New Zealand; Captain Yonoi (Sakamoto), the young camp commandant; Lieutenant Colonel John Lawrence (Conti), a British officer who has lived in Japan and speaks Japanese fluently; and Sergeant Hara (Kitano), with whom Lawrence develops a peculiar friendship.

Like Celliers, Yonoi, too, is tormented by guilt. Having been posted to Manchuria previously, he was unable to be in Tokyo with his Army comrades, the "Shining Young Officers" of Japan's February 26 Incident, a 1936 military coup d'etat. When the coup fails, the young army officers are executed. Yonoi regrets not being able to share their patriotic sacrifice. Jack Celliers had betrayed his deformed younger brother while the two of them were attending boarding school. Although Celliers confesses this only to Lawrence, Captain Yonoi senses in Celliers a kindred spirit. He wants to replace Hicksley with Celliers as spokesman for the prisoners.

Don't let the recent name changes fool you. Tony Hawk's American Wasteland is the seventh Tony Hawk game developed by Neversoft in as many years. Over the years the series has had installments that made dramatic changes to the formula, but the more recent installments have focused less on gameplay or structural changes and more on including a story. American Wasteland is the game that finally makes good on the story thing by offering a plot that's far more interesting than it's been in the previous two games. It also attempts to put all its levels together into one big take on Los Angeles that's free from loading times. That part doesn't work out quite as well as the back of the box would have you believe, but the real issue with American Wasteland is with its gameplay. You'll find the requisite handful of new tricks, but most of the story mode feels like a brief tutorial, and the classic mode isn't deep or long enough to hold the attention of series veterans. It's got more of the same fluid skating gameplay you've come to expect from the series, but the game's over almost immediately.

Have you ever longed to pull off massive 360 degree airs in some of the most beautiful locations in the world? Now you can without feeling the cold. This is Supreme Snowboarding in more ways than one.

The gameplay in Supreme Snowboarding is broken up into four main sections - Arcade, Time Trial, Half Pipe and Big Air. Arcade racing is where you race other snowboarders down treacherous terrains in a fight for first place. Tricks are not essential in this mode, but they're always fun to execute. Time Trial is where you perfect your line in an attempt to shave a tenth or maybe a hundredth of a second from your previous best. Half pipe is a trick event where you pull off the biggest, most impressive moves to earn a top score. Finally, Big Air is a 'one try, one outrageous trick' competition, and a lot of fun if you've got some friends around.

The control method is Supreme Snowboarding is balanced and well thought out. If you hold down jump, left, right or up and down, you'll see a gauge build up, showing how much effort you are going to put into a trick. This makes it easy to judge the spin or flip perfectly, depending on how much air you have.

Graphically speaking, this title is a gem to look at. The night time races are particularly impressive. Good graphics plus good gameplay equals one fine PC snowboarding experience.

Though many games today take elements from existing titles and try to put their own spin on them, this form of imitation isn't always a bad thing. There's something to be said for honing a concept. But the possibility that the new twist on an old formula won't actually improve the overall product certainly exists. The Punisher, a long-running Marvel Comics franchise about a vigilante trying to save the world from being overrun by scumbags, is no stranger to this concept. Back in 1993, the character appeared in an arcade game from Capcom that basically started with Final Fight as a template, and then dropped in The Punisher, Nick Fury, and so on. It wasn't so great. Now, THQ and Volition have delivered a new game with The Punisher name. While it attempts to put its own spin on the third-person shooter genre by adding sometimes-gruesome interrogation sequences, this game is, more or less, Max Payne without the bullet time.
The Punisher's got a bone to pick with criminals everywhere.
Well, perhaps "without the bullet time" isn't entirely accurate. The Punisher can go into "slaughter mode," which slows the game down a bit. Slaughter mode is slightly unique in that, while in it, you'll regain some of your health and drop your guns in favor of a never-ending supply of knives that you can throw into the faces of enemies with stunning accuracy. The other twist to The Punisher is that you can grab any enemy for use as a human shield. Though doing this slows down your movement so much that it's only occasionally useful, once you've grabbed an enemy, you can choose to interrogate him. This brings up a little tension minigame, in which you have to work the mouse just right to keep a line in the proper section of a meter for three seconds. Once you do this, the perp will crack and tell you what he knows, and you'll get a little health boost for your trouble. Most enemies know next to nothing, and interrogating the average bad guy will get you one of only a few phrases per level. But some enemies yield more-interesting results, and these guys are clearly marked with a skull over their head, so you'll know to deal with them dead last.

Tomb Raider III

Tomb Raider III has a serious jump level design and variety compared to Tomb Raider II. Locations include the rainforests of India, London, Nevada, South Pacific Islands and Antarctica, making up a total of 19 massive levels set in varied terrains and conditions. The levels are less linear than in the previous games thanks to multiple paths in exploration and puzzles. As with previous SimCity titles, SimCity 4 places players in the role of a mayor (or several mayors), tasked with populating and developing tracts of lands into cities, while fulfilling the needs of fellow Sims that live in the cities. Cities are now located in regions that are divided into segments, each of which can be developed. The player has the option of starting the city in a segment of any of three area sizes, the smallest being 1 by 1 kilometer in real measurement.[4] A large city is 16 km²; for comparison the New York borough of Manhattan measures about 90 km². The size of a region and its layout of segments can be changed in a bitmap file provided for each region.
Neighbor cities play a larger role than in the previous versions of the game. For example, neighbor deals can be established, where a city can exchange resources such as water, electricity, garbage disposal with other cities for money. Players may develop several dependent cities at the same time, eventually populating the entire region.

Martin Freeman plays Chris, a frustrated TV producer who is forced to leave his unreliable flatmate Bob played by Velibor Topic in charge of showing a series of real estate agents around the house he is trying to sell. Worried by Bob's habit of spending all day working in the basement playing loud music, Chris asks his friend to listen out for the door bell and show anyone who comes calling inside. Bob promises to do exactly that and for once, not to let him down. Over the course of the day, whilst Chris struggles to cope with his insane TV presenter colleague Jerry, played by Richard Harrington - back at the house it is soon clear that bonkers Bob is taking his promise to Chris rather too literally. Bob has indeed, allowed anyone inside, including a couple of gun-toting gangsters - an incompetent young Brit played by Danny Dyer and an incontinent American played by Corey Johnson. That evening, Chris is surprised to return home and find his flatmate, four estate agents, two Jehovah's Witnesses, a corpse and a terrified children's entertainer in what remains of his flooded kitchen. Of course, a roomful of water and broken furniture doesn't mean the end of the world - but the half-crazed American sitting outside the toilet with a gun, just might.

It's the year 1941 and you are Lt. Henry Walker a young Navy Officer stationed at Pearl Harbor. You are late for duty and on route to your ship as the Japanese attack the harbor and sink it. Now you first help to defend the harbor and then take the fight all the way to the last Battle of the pacific around the Midway Islands.

You are limited to control the ships, subs and planes the game gives you in the single-player campaign but in multiplayer-matches you are free to jump into anything that moves and isn't currently occupied by another player. So it's yours to decide at anytime if you want to fly a plane, steer a cruiser or take the on the enemy under water with a submarine anytime you like. Since there are several kinds of ships from Torpedo Boats over Destroyers to Aircraft Carriers and planes like the F4F Wildcat or the SBD Dauntless you have different options and weapons at your disposal. On a Aircraft Carrier for example, which has only AA guns, you can build up squads of airplanes, assign targets and launch them. You can also go to the tactical map if you currently controlling a ship and assign formations, give out orders and so on. Or just jump into a vehicle and do everything yourself instead of letting the AI or the other players take care of it.

The single-player also features three different challenges, one for each type of vehicle. Each mission inside a challenge puts you in difficult situations you've to master. The first mission in the ship challenge for example gives you control over a Japanese Battleship which has been ambushed and needs to reach safety as US Destroyers advance at it's position.
