| 06-28-2007, 12:12 PM #1  Well, almost twelve years on and I'm still hooked. The Simpsons is just classic. I remember seeing an the first series years ago and being completely transfixed. The whole dysfunctional family set-up had been done before with Roseanne and Married...With Children, but The Simpsons stood out as being special. I don't know whether it's because it's an animated show or whether it's the faultless scripts or the fantastic vocal cast or the wealth of characters, I just know I love it. Every episode is memorable, even below-quality episode still wipes the floor with most of the sitcom's on television today. The Simpsons has a become a part of modern culture, and I sincerely hope it can keep on going for a long time yet. I'm not sure how I'd react if it went off the air. I received TomTom Navigator 6.0 today from Clove and was going to write a lengthy first impressions article but ran out of time. Instead here are a few points that struck when I installed it on my Nokia E61-
Inserted the TomTom miniSD card and it took about 3 seconds to install automatically
Paired with the TomTom GPS receiver automatically
Voices are nice and loud and configurable to a high degree (this is a problem with products such as Navicore)
Comes with cables including one to charge the Nokia E61 from the included car charger (plus attachments for the Treo and other models)
Works perfectly with no memory loss and appears to be very quick
I have spoken about TomTom’s questionable support many times in the past but I have to say that the product is simply brilliant and once you trust Navigator it is hard to go elsewhere…

TheaterTek DVD is a Windows software DVD player designed for the Home Theater enthusiast.
As Home Theatre PC's, or HTPC's as they are now called have become more popular, the need
for a DVD player designed for home movie watching led to the creation of TheaterTek DVD.
What is an HTPC?
An HTPC is a PC designed with the primary purpose of movie watching or handling multimedia.
As such, it is usually connected to a High Definition Television (HDTV) or projector.
Watching DVD playback via a computer in this way can be an emotional experience, as the
image and sound quality can rival significantly more expensive dedicated equipment.
